New Dog Transition

Not all new dogs are puppies.

Some come from all walks of life at all different ages. Initial introduction is key to a solid healthy foundation of coexistence. Accessing the dynamics of the home and personalities of the dog(s), we can put together a plan of action to help harmonize and ensure your new family addition settles in seamlessly into their very own “forever home”.

Plans can include tasks such as diet, exercise, proper control of emotional stimulation, stranger neutrality, mental stimulation and setting rules, boundaries and limitations.

New Dog Transition Training:

Each Dog has had their own life experiences. They have their own personality, and may or may not have had exposure to training. A one size fits all approach to transition is not effective. Timing and consistency are key for success. I will work one on one with you and your dog to understand how to handle certain behaviors and why it’s so important to teach proper behavior, socialization, and basic obedience skills. It’s all about building a trust level for each other. Mutual trust is so important.

Please give me a call for pricing information. Since I offer so many tools and various options, it’s better to discuss exactly what is needed to insure we cover a well balance approach to you and your dogs training needs.

New dog transition has such a special place in my heart. I want to do everything possible to help every dog stay in their forever home and out of the shelters.

In addition, I also touch upon proper diet and nutrition to holistically cover the wellness of your new family member.
